The Deathly Hollows - Basic Profiles

This post is dedicated to The Deathly Hollows, the first three members of the Blood Guard. The basic profiles will cover the generalized information about these three. I would like to reserve their personal histories for later posts due to the constant shifting within my mind. Some details still need to be ironed out and it is possible that one or more individuals may join this group at a later date. Nothing is verified, just listing it as a possibility.

The Hollows are loosely related to the Harry Potter franchise, mainly just the name because I couldn't think of anything better to call them at the time, but it works pretty well so it became official. Two of the Hollows are created within minutes of each other to act as a vessel of darkness and a vessel of evil. The Third Hollow doesn't appear until after the initial formation of The Realm and has to finish growing up first. These three existed before the Guard was ever formed...the only other being to exist within The Realm at that time was the last Draconian. To explain this other being would require an in depth post of its own and would contain major spoilers...so just shelving that for later.

Now each member of the Guard has an unique introduction. This intro is a specially tailored summary of them. Basically, it's what prisoners of war do while in enemy hands. When asked about the Blood Guard...its pretty vague because revealing too much information could actually jeopardize the Star Child's timeline. The secondary purpose of the intro, besides being ridiculously badass, is to make Her Ladyship squeal in fan girlish delight. She loves hearing the intros and so the Guard made certain to do it as often as they could because it really did make her happy.

Silly, I know but come on! Imagine for a moment that you have a group of armed individuals advancing towards you....then a wave of water appears and from the water, a person. As they're taking physical form, they do the intro and right near the end...BAM...fully formed and ready to kick ass. *giggles* I am actually referring to The Fourth Captain. He just loves making an entrance...yum. *blinks* Oh right, I was talking about The Deathly Hollows...dummy, The Captains are later. Stop being a fan girl of your own work for five minutes! *clears throat* Sorry about that...and on we go.

First Captain and leader of the Blood Guard, The Hollow of Destruction, The Fallen One. He is Shadow of The Deathly Hollows and he is her darkness.

The Demon of the Blood Guard, The Hollow of Death,  The Devil's Phantom. He is Crow of The Deathly Hollows and he is her servant.

*snickers* Sorry but you don't get to see Crow just yet but I will give a special shout out to the first person who guesses who he is based off of. Here's a clue. *points at the gif above*

The Snow Maiden of the Blood Guard, The Hollow of Rebirth, The Angel of Death. She is Deathdealer of The Deathly Hollows and she is her resolve.

Now for a little history/information, but not much...why because The Deathly Hollows were not meant to be main characters in the first book of The Star Chronicles. Their involvement is meant to start in Book 2 which has not been named yet despite how much I have already hashed out. The Hollows, as stated before, walk a darker path, but this was their choice. They chose to be this way because Her Ladyship was still quite early in her time stream and had yet to fully embrace that to do what is right may require to take another's life.

Shadow is the First Hollow, but he was originally a small boy...a child. His mother had befriended the Star Child and accepted her into their home. Even as a little boy, he was a genius...a child prodigy. His mind was far more developed than others of his age. He simply played the role of the typical rambunctious child to make the Star Child smile. He loved her and so did his mother, Claria. His mother was murdered whilst trying to protect Her Ladyship and he was to be next, but the Star Child protected him...by killing them.

The look on her face as she stared at her blood soaked hands, he never forgot it. He scorched that memory into the deepest part of his soul. When the Star Child's physical form began to crack, splintering from having the combined powers of light and darkness, he volunteered. He chose to become the vessel of her darkness, but to do so, he had to fall...he had to allow his current self to be destroyed. There had been no doubt within him and he let himself be devoured and reshaped by her darkness. This is why he is known as The Fallen One and The Hollow of Destruction.

The Second Hollow is created a few minutes later. By expelling the darkness into Benedict, the evil that remained within The Star Child was ejected from her body, unable to withstand the power of her light. It looked like a combination of black fog and the skin of evil from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The fog spread throughout the city, killing everything and absorbing the corrupted energy of their souls. The fog returned to its origin and began its assault on the Star Child. This is when she named him and gave him a purpose, with it a shard of her soul to act as his core. The mass took the shape of a naked man that collapsed into unconsciousness.

Shortly after this event, The Realm was created. It was small, only a single planet. The Star Child and her two companions spent a great deal of time there; landscaping, building, and expanding when necessary. It was during this time when a small dark haired little girl with vibrant ice blue eyes appeared in the winter region and Her Ladyship used her power to stabilize the girl. Her Ladyship took care of her, educated her, and taught her how to fight. It was Shadow and Crow that explained what roles they had in the Star Child's life. When she became of age, she officially aligned herself with the other two Hollows.

Once the Star Child had come to terms with recent events, she returned to Sol which at the time the Hollows referred to it as Telluria which Her Ladyship overturned such a name on the basis that although poetic, it was a bit of a mouthful. The Hollows simply smiled and agreed with her...though in The Archives, it was still under the label of Telluria. As more time passed, more and more people began to follow the Star Child and as a result, the Blood Guard was formed with the Star Child as their leader and The Deathly Hollows as the executive officers.

The Hollows became much more involved and proactive when Her Ladyship fell into a coma from the strain and exhaustion of leading the Guard, traveling Sol and bringing more people with her, educating them personally, seeing to their growing needs and fulfilling their expectations. It was simply too much and the Hollows made it absolutely clear that their main priority was the wellbeing and happiness of the woman that saved them, that cared for them when she didn't have to or didnt know them. They are the reason that the Blood Guard never became a militant group. The Hollows forced the rest of the Guard into confronting themselves, to really see and understand what they were doing...especially to her and this is why the Blood Guard became a dysfunctional family of goofballs, crazy people, pranksters, geniuses, and just plain, ridiculous idiots...because they loved her.

Whew....finally got through it. Sorry for the delay but I got hung up on what to call Deathdealer. She already had Snow Maiden and Hollow of Rebirth and then her actual name of Deathdealer. Then i remembered rather interesting plot twist I had come up with a few months ago. Thus the reason she is known as The Angel of Death. Special shout out for who can guess why! Up next is the awesomeness that is The Captains. With the exception of the First Captain, the other three play vital roles in Book 1: Stardust! Stay tuned!

  1. As of now, a good chunk of Shadow's origin story has been rewritten and it is heart wrenching, so keep reading the posts and you will run across the revision eventually.
